Our History


Nyankonton Aid Foundation (NAF) is a Ghanaian-based civil society organization focused on enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities. It is a subsidiary of Multi-Display Recordz, with a primary focus on road safety advocacy and activism. Founded in 2014, NAF officially obtained NGO registration from the Registrar General Department of Ghana in February 2018. Since its establishment, the organization has worked closely with local communities and stakeholders in the areas of health, education, campaigns, and road safety initiatives, aiming to improve living standards across the Ashanti and Bono Regions. NAF adopts a holistic approach to poverty alleviation, human resource development, gender equality, and sustainable development by collaborating with various sectors and partners.


NAF's legal status is recognized under the 1963 (ACT 179) limited by Guarantee as Charity No. CG013282018. The foundation maintains affiliations with several networks, including the International Road Victims' Partnership (IRVP), SDG Sub Platform, Civicus, Global Network of Civil Society Organization for Disaster Reduction, Local Governance Network, Tax Justice Coalition, as well as other strategic alliances.


The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees and supported by a dedicated Management Team overseeing day-to-day operations and programs, with Program Managers heading key support units. NAF currently boasts a team of five qualified and experienced professionals from various backgrounds, united by a strong work ethic and collective goal. Furthermore, NAF maintains a roster of seasoned professionals as resource persons to provide valuable assistance in project implementation when needed.

Strategic Objectivies


Nyankonton Aid Foundation is driven by a clear vision and mission to create a sustainable and prosperous society where every individual has access to basic needs and opportunities for development. To achieve this, NAF Ghana has set strategic objectives that focus on education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods among other interventions.


In the education sector, our objective is to increase access to quality education by supporting community schools. We aim to improve literacy rates through comprehensive literacy programs for children and adults, as well as foster digital literacy by providing teaching and learning materials, computer training, and access to technology.


In healthcare, NAF Ghana's objective is to enhance healthcare services in underserved areas through partnerships with local health centers. We plan to conduct health education and awareness campaigns to promote preventive healthcare.


For sustainable livelihoods, NAF Ghana's objective is to promote income-generating activities and entrepreneurship among marginalized communities. We aim to provide vocational training and skills development programs to enhance employability and support agricultural initiatives for food security and income generation.


To achieve our strategic objectives, NAF Ghana actively engages stakeholders, mobilizes resources, collaborates with partners, monitors and evaluates programs, ensures sustainability, manages risks, measures impact, and continuously improves our operations.
